Summary

Set-up and execute the French RLT medical strategy aligned with Global corporate and Local company strategies, while leading a team of medical associates by embodying Novartis/Adacap values and behaviours

About the Role

Major Activities  (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved )

  • Involvement in all aspects of medical support for the company’s products.
  • Key Opinion Leader management and maintenance of relevant relationships in the medical and scientific community on a local basis.
  • Lead F-IV, IIS or any other scientific project.
  • Responsible for scientific and clinical input on cross-functional sales and marketing teams.
  • Definition and implementation of a local publication strategy for the oncology franchise.
  • Managing a team composed of medical advisor, CRMA, MSL, including potential managers.
  • Support to commercial activities, such as congresses and key events and the profiling of competitors as appropriate.
  • Continuously update in-depth scientific and medical knowledge and be well informed about clinical trends and guidelines in oncology.
  • Support promotional activities by reviewing and approving marketing materials to ensure compliance within the international regulatory frame.
  • To ensure all MA related activities conform to the company’s standards, regulations and compliance requirements follow good ethical practice.

  • Autonomy, responsibility, and well-being of the medical team
  • Medical expertise and recognition from national and international authorities and opinion leaders
  • Effective collaboration with TMO teams to meet annual commitments for the number of centers and patients to recruit.
  • Effective collaboration with Commercial RLT teams, Market Access, and public affairs teams to successfully execute the defined RLT strategy.
  • Compliance of the entire medical team with best practices, DMOS/LEA rules, and SOPs

Education:

Medical Doctor (MD) preferred. (If not, strong scientific background required)

Languages:          

French & English

Experience / Professional requirements:      

Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Successful and confirmed experiences of manager.

Relevant experience in medical affairs in oncology.

Strategic thinker with a sound commercial acumen.

Proactive, self-starter, autonomous.

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Excellent team player leading projects from planning to execution and termination.
