The responsibility of a Wireless Network Engineer is to implement, maintain, document, and troubleshoot Novartis Next-Generation Wireless infrastructure. The primary goal is to ensure that the wireless network operates smoothly, securely, and in line with the business requirements.
This involves primarily working with network devices, protocols, and technologies to establish reliable and efficient communication between systems and users.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the field of Computer Science or related
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).

Commitment to ongoing professional development through courses, workshops, and seminars to stay current with evolving technologies and industry standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in LAN and WLAN networking
  • Experience with Wi-Fi Technologies (RF, SSID, 802.11 etc)
  • Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Cisco WLAN functionality
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Understanding of Wi-Fi networking principles and protocols.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and protocols
  • Familiarity with wireless equipment and tools (e.g. APs, WLCs, Survey tools).
  • Ability to troubleshoot wireless network issues.
  • Capability to write effective network documentation.

LANGUAGES

  • Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
