About the Role
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Work closely with senior developers to design, test, and deploy machine learning cloud-based Python applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code that meets project specifications.
- Help identify, debug, and resolve technical challenges.
- Contribute to team discussions by sharing ideas, providing feedback, and continuously learning from others.
- Collaborate with Business, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Business Planning Analysts, and other stakeholders in regular meetings.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest Python developments and apply them to current projects.
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation and project records.
- Demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Degree in Computer Science or other related Bachelor
- 0-3 years of experience in Python development (internships or projects welcome).
- Good understanding of Python fundamentals, including object-oriented programming.
- Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and how to interact with them using Python.
- Exposure to version control tools like Git.
- Enthusiasm for learning new tools, techniques, and technologies.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and take direction when needed.
- Solid grasp of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Git and Docker.
- Comfortable working with VSCode and devcontainers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of machine learning is an asset.
- Familiarity with libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn is advantageous.
- A strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and initiative.
- Self-driven with a strong work ethic, a passion for learning, and excellent problem-solving skills.
