About the Role
Accountabilities:
- Embed an Integrated Risk Management framework within GCO
- Define mechanisms, terminologies, and processes for risk management within GCO
- Drive identification and analysis of risk trends and ensure implementation of appropriate mitigations
Activities & Interfaces:
- Identify potential enterprise risks in GCO and assess risk information provided by GCO Areas
- Coordinate operational risk/issue management contingency planning activities
- Work with teams inside & outside of GCO to conduct impact assessments and develop strategies for mitigating business continuity risks
Key Performance Indicators:
- Defined and communicate GCO Risk Strategy
- Implemented Integrated Risk Management framework across GCO
- Effective management of disruptions and progress key projects
Job Dimensions:
- No direct associates; involves matrix management across all major global sites
- No direct financial responsibilities; critical impact on strategic operations decisions and multi-million dollar development assets
Ideal Background:
- Bachelor degree in life science or business; fluency in English
- 10+ years industry experience, 7+ years cross-functional international leadership experience
- Advanced understanding of the drug development, Clinical process
- Strong risk management, strategic thinking and analytical skills
- High resiliency, strong organizational awareness, and a willingness to continually develop oneself
